Blue Spirit is the North Sea's most personal surf school. We run with a maximum of 8 participants per instructor, so you always get individual feedback and real attention. When you book into a course, you will join our regular 2-day surf course with other participants. It is cheapest and easiest to book directly online – perfect for smaller groups of friends of 2-8 people.

Private instructor means you have the instructor just for yourself. This gives you flexible times, tailored lessons and the possibility of a special setup. It is perfect for bachelor parties, schools or larger groups (8-25 people). Contact us for a price on a private event.

We can handle groups of up to 25 people at a time. For small groups of friends (2-8 people) we recommend booking into an existing course. For larger groups (8-25 people) we make private arrangements with sufficient instructor ratio to ensure good quality and safety.

Stag parties/schools/larger groups: Send an email to surf@bluespirit.dk with the number of people, desired date and description of your group. We will get back to you with a specific offer within 1-2 business days.

Yes, surfing is a great stag/hen party activity! It's active, social, inclusive (anyone can join) and creates shared memories. We have experience with stag/hen parties and can customize the setup to your wishes – e.g. private instructor, flexible time or special arrangements. Contact us and we'll plan the perfect day together.

If you book into an existing course, you pay normal course prices per person (see prices in the booking system). For private events, the price depends on group size, time and any special requests. Contact us for a specific offer - we will create a solution that suits you and your budget.

No, absolutely not. The vast majority of groups start as complete beginners, and that works perfectly. We adapt the lessons to the group's level and ensure that everyone feels safe. The focus is on shared experience and fun – not on perfect technique from day one.

This is completely normal and not a problem. Some in the group may have tried it before, others are completely new. The instructor adapts the guidance to each individual so that everyone has a good experience – whether it is their first time or their fifth time on the board.

The vast majority of people stand up and surf their first waves – often during the first session. But surfing is also about wave understanding, timing and simply being in the ocean. Even those who don’t stand up every time have a fantastic experience and learn a lot.

We recommend a minimum age of 12 for group surfing. For school classes or children's groups, please contact us so we can ensure appropriate instructor ratios and age-appropriate instruction. There is no upper age limit - surfing works for all ages, as long as you are in reasonable shape.

We will monitor the conditions and contact you at least the day before if the weather or waves are not suitable for lessons. You will be given the option to rebook to another date or get a refund (depending on booking type). We never compromise on safety or quality.

In Hvide Sande we focus primarily on wave surfing. If you want a multi-activity day with wingfoil, kitesurf, SUP, team building and full event capacity, then check out our Ebeltoft surf center. Ebeltoft has a shop, café and facilities for larger corporate events.
