📍 Flynder Point (2 min walk): Our main spot for board rental – protected by the pier, perfect for beginners. We will guide you to the best zone of the day based on waves and wind.
📍 Nordmolen (5 min by car): More of a challenge if Flynder Point is too small. Our 5'6"-7'0" boards work perfectly here. Rent a surfboard and take it to different spots!
🚗 Surfboard rental West Coast: All boards have handles and can be transported by car or bike. Explore other spots along the coast - we help with recommendations based on the day's conditions.

If you are completely new to surfing, we highly recommend starting with a surf course in Hvide Sande instead of just renting gear. Why?

Do I need to book surfboard rental in advance?
Walk-in works fine most of the time – just come by during opening hours 10-17 and rent a surfboard directly. In high season (July-August weekends) it is smart to call first on 52 63 13 49 to make sure boards are available. We usually have good availability.
What size surfboard should I rent?
First time on a surfboard? We recommend 7'6"-8'0" for adults – good stability and easy to learn on. Children: 5'6"-6'6" depending on age. Experienced surfers: 6'0"-7'0" for more maneuverability. Stop by our surf rental in Hvide Sande and ask us – we'll help you choose the right size based on your weight, height and experience!
What is the difference between Vision Softboard and Pro?
Standard Softboard: Slightly thicker and more stable – perfect for beginners and those who want maximum balance. Pro: Lighter, thinner, faster and more responsive – for those who have tried surfing before and want better performance. Both are Vision quality with a soft safe surface. Both can be rented in our surfboard rental.
Do I have to pay a deposit when I rent?
No! We do not take a deposit on our surfboard rentals in Hvide Sande. For longer rentals (1 day or more) we just take your ID or driver's license as security while you have the gear - you will of course get it back when you return it. It's as simple as that.
Is a 5mm wetsuit too hot in the summer?
No, absolutely not. The North Sea is cold all year round – even in summer only 15-18°C. 5mm keeps you comfortably warm, so you can stay out longer and have a better experience. Many underestimate how cold the water is and freeze after 20 minutes without a wetsuit. Rent a 5mm wetsuit and surf for hours!
Can I take the rented board to Nordmolen?
Yes! All our boards can be taken anywhere. Nordmolen is walking distance from our surfboard rental and often provides more of a challenge than Flynder Point. We recommend 5'6"-7'0" boards for Nordmolen as the waves can be bigger. Come and get guidance on which spots work best on the day!
What if the board breaks?
Normal wear and tear (small scratches, dents from use) is OK – it’s part of surfing. However, if the board gets seriously damaged (large holes, broken board, lost in the ocean), you are liable for damages. Vision boards are durable, but they cost 3,000-4,000 DKK to replace, so take good care of them when you rent! Ask us about safe handling when you pick them up.
How far is the beach from the rental?
Only a 2 minute walk from our surfboard rental at Tungevej 2 to Flynder Point beach. We point you in the direction of the best spot of the day based on waves, wind and your level. Boards have handles and are easy to carry – even children can handle it!
Can I rent a surfboard for several days in a row?
Yes! Call 52 63 13 49 for multi-day surf rentals – we give good discounts for longer rentals. For example. 3 days board for 1,200 kr instead of 1,500 kr (save 300 kr). Perfect if you are on holiday in Hvide Sande and want to surf every day!
What if the weather is bad after I rent?
We cannot refund for weather changes on the day. However, if conditions are really bad (dangerously high waves, storm), we CAN often rebook for the next day at no extra charge. Call us and we will find a solution together - the most important thing is your safety!

Practical information
The most important thing to know about our rental
📋 Return: Rinse gear in our outdoor shower (removes salt and sand). Return before closing time or as agreed. Return earlier = no refund for unused time.
⏰ Opening hours: 10:00 - 17:00 daily in season (May-September). Outside opening hours? Call 52 63 13 49 – we'll find a solution for your surfboard rental!
🌊 Season: Primarily open May-September. Out of season we can still arrange rentals - just contact us.
💳 Payment: Card, Cash or MobilePay accepted.
⚠️ Responsibility: You are responsible for the gear. Normal wear and tear is OK. Serious damage or loss must be replaced. Vision boards cost 3,000-4,000 DKK to replace – so take good care of them!
🔒 Security: For 1 day+ rentals we take your ID/driver's license as security. You get it back when you return. For 2-4 hour rentals nothing is needed.
