At our windsurf school, you’ll find perfect beginner conditions in the most beautiful surroundings. It’s ideal for both new beginners and experienced windsurfers who enjoy sailing fast. Ebeltoft is also great for other watersports like kitesurfing, wing foiling, and foil surfing.
The age limit for learning to windsurf at Blue Spirit is between 8-10 years, depending on size and weight, and participants should weigh over 25 kg. It’s not necessary to have previous experience with windsurfing as Blue Spirit offers instruction from the beginning and explains everything you need to know. To learn how to windsurf, it is recommended to take the full 3-day course as this is usually required to become able to windsurf independently.
To participate in the windsurfing course at Blue Spirit, you should bring a towel, swim trunks or a bikini, neoprene shoes (if you have them), or you can purchase them in our store at a reasonable price, and, of course, lots of good energy and a positive attitude. If you have a pair of old and comfortable shoes, they can also be used as an alternative to neoprene shoes.
Yes, there are safety rules you need to be aware of before going out on the water at Blue Spirit. But you don’t need to worry because we offer official theory lessons that inform you about everything you need to know before heading out onto the water. We prioritize safety highly, and it’s important that our students understand the safety rules to ensure a safe and fun experience.
Theory lessons are included in the regular windsurfing course package at Blue Spirit. We believe that understanding the safety rules and the theory behind windsurfing is just as important as the practical experience, so we include an official theory unit that informs you about everything you need to know before hitting the water.
The customer should contact us at least one week before the event or course if they are unable to attend. We will attempt to reschedule the booking for another day. If the booking is scheduled to take place within the next 72 hours, it cannot be rescheduled. If the customer contacts us after the booking has taken place, we cannot reschedule the event or course or provide a refund.
We always strive to find solutions if something doesn’t work out – either by finding another time, converting the amount into a voucher, or allowing the customer to purchase items from our store for the amount.
Of course! We offer the option to rent windsurfing equipment by the hour, week, or with our popular 5- or 10-hour cards. These options allow you to spend more time on the water and are much more economical than renting for just one hour.
We also have equipment available for beginners, intermediate, and advanced windsurfers, so there’s something for every skill level.
If you’ve taken a course with us, you can get the 5- and 10-hour cards at a special price.
